The hotels is newer, but already showing signs of wear and tear. One of the employees was very disinterested and was going through the motions and showed no interested in solutions. There is a barn door in the bathroom where you can see in through the cracks. This is a big problem if you are sharing a room with people you don’t want to see you doing your business. Finally, I stayed in January, and the pool was freezing. To be clear, the water was heated, but the pool area itself was maybe 50 degrees Fahrenheit air temperature. Kids were looking forward to the pool so big disappointment. The hotel employee tried to blame it on the windows, but no way.

Hotel is pretty good. The lobby is nice and very spacious. The rooms are fine, bed is comfortable (except I ran my shins into the edge about 10 times) and A/C all worked great, shower was great. Our bathroom shower light was broken but there was a real bathroom fan, which was nice. This hotel has a large mini-fridge in the room and easy quick connect to Netflix and streaming services. Easy parking and felt very safe, close to everything. We did not use the workout room or pool, and we did not order breakfast (I believe there is no free breakfast included). Requested an "occupied" door tag to keep them from knocking during the day but they ran out. Front desk clerk is awkward and uncomfortable to be around. Overall everything was fine.

Run, don't walk and if you are currently staying in this hotel CHECK YOUR BILL IMMEDIATELY. Our son checked in this past Wednesday and checked out Friday. When he checked in, he was told they were having banking issues & he would be over charged but it would drop off when he left. Didn't happen. He had 3 additional charges totalling over $900 plus the room stay. I could provide all the details but long story short, new owners-no one knows their name or phone number not even Marriott. Which is odd, you think they'd have something important like that. Marriott Fraud Division has told us they will be reaching out to ELKHART Police to involve them. And even though he's already waited the 3 days for the charges to be reimbursed the monies have NOT been put back in his account. Marriott believes it's fraud and even though at the end of the day it is a Marriott responsibility THEY want him to wait yet another 3 days. AND THE KICKER IS THIS, IF YOU CHECK INTO THIS HOTEL RIGHT NOW, the same thing will happen to you. They knowing and willingly are "over charging" your stay. They say over charging but if that were the case the exact amounts would be doubled. AND I would think Mariott would put a stop to it. Oh and don't try to talk to the manager....her daughter works there too and apparently it's OK with the owners and MARRIOTT to be cursed out by the Mother/Daughter duo. TRAVELERS BEWARE....DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID...JUST BECAUSE IT SIGN OUTSIDE SAYS IT'S A MARRIOTT, IT MEANS NOTHING. YOU CAN BE ROBBED ANYWHERE, EVEN A MARRIOTT

Close to toll road which is great. The only way to get to it is through the Staybridge Hotel parking lot. Which is somewhat confusing at 1st. Head for the staybridge, Sheraton is to the south behind it. Hard to see util you get to south end of staybridge parking lot.

The staff here is incredible! They work hard to ensure that you have a great stay and are very friendly. Beds were very comfortable. The hotel was very quiet which is key for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast portions are generous! Highly recommend.

Nice clean room, pool and exercise room. Breakfast was really good, restaurant style. Right by the highway and around a lot of local businesses. My only complaints is the shower in my room didn't have a non slip surface and was damaged ( paint chipped and bowed) making egress a bit precarious. And the desk guy didn't know how to get me hooked up to the Internet. Was actually surprised and almost acted as if me connecting my PlayStation wasn't allowed. There's a book with a phone number to call behind the desk if you need to connect a device

Hotel charged credit card for room that was prepaid via Expedia. Numerous contac and tel, 4 days later no credit recd. Had to contact credit card company. Total waste of my time.
