I'll start by saying not all aloft properties are nearly as alike as you might find with some of the other Marriott brands. This one is currently undergoing some renovation. Overall a very nice modern hotel. Loved the pool table in the lobby lounge. Great staff here very friendly.

Canceled a stay here and was told I would receive a full refund. Fast forward a month after countless calls and following up while still being assured I would get refunded and now finally Marriott tells me that they are in fact not able to refund me.

My case was closed and reopened three times during this time without anyone following up with me or reaching out to get the issue resolved. Huge waste of time and a terrible experience all around.

Be careful if you have to deal with Marriott in any sort of refund situation. It seems almost predatory and intentionally time wasting.

Nice part of the city, gas station and restaurant at your footstep if you’re on the go. Nice little bar inside with occasional live music. Staff friendly with plenty of good local suggestions, room service adapts to your schedule! Made my work travel much more pleasant!

Loved staying here with our soccer team and families (10 year old boys)! The lobby was a hit with a pool table, arcade games, a beautiful outdoor area and more. Amber at the front desk was so welcoming and friendly! The hotel is 10 minutes from Stryker field and also close to restaurants, with food available at the hotel and the Kitchen next door. We all enjoyed the comfortable room and amenities. Thank you!

Stayed here for a business trio. The single king bed rooms are nice but much smaller compared to other rooms at other hotels that I've stayed at recently. The interior lighting on the bedroom/living area side was okay. Definitely needed to open the window shades for better lighting during the day. The bathroom/sink/closet area was nice. You walk into that area, and a wall separates the bedroom/living area past that. I'd say that the room is as long as it is wide. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Inexpensive, friendly, nice pool, clean rooms, amazing sound insulation, good gym, next to an awesome liquor store and delicious restaurants. I love booking The Aloft hotel in Wichita hotel for my business trips.

Also, the jokes they write in the elevator are funny.

Worst Hotel Experience Ever – Stay Away!

If I could give negative stars, I would. My stay at Aloft was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this place is run by a bunch of unprofessional, uncaring staff who have no idea what customer service is.

The biggest issue was the bartender working that night – I wish I caught his or her name, but trust me, you’ll know him if you have the misfortune of encountering him. This guy was *beyond* rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. When I asked for a simple drink, he acted like I was wasting his time. He rolled his eyes, was condescending, and made snide remarks under his breath. It felt like I was inconveniencing *him* by being there. Isn’t his job to serve guests?! His attitude was downright disgusting.

On top of that, the hotel itself is a disaster. The rooms were not cleaned and the sheets smelled stale. I’m not even sure they clean the rooms properly between guests. and absolutely no effort by management to address it. I couldn’t sleep at all.

Aloft claims to be a trendy, modern hotel, but it’s nothing more than a poorly run dump with rude staff. If you value your money, time, or sanity, stay far, far away from this place. You’ve been warned!
