Ich konnte es ja nicht ahnen, so buchte ich 3 Nächte im Voraus. Check Inn lief Problemlos, das wars dann auch mit dem Positiven. der Flur sah aus wie im Schweinestall überall Dreck und Flecken. Im Zimmer schlug mir ein Geruch entgegen der mich schwindelig werden ließ (Schimmelgeruch mit Spraydose Desinfektion überdeckt) ein Blick ins Bad schwarzer Schimmel unter der sich ablösender Wandfarbe. Ekelhaftes gammeliges Mobiliar. Ich bin sonst nicht so, aber das geht zu weit. Zur Krönung des Ganzen wurde der Preis von meiner Kreditkarte doppelt abgebucht. Es ist eine Schande. Ich kann mich meinen Vorrednern nur anschliessen ...!!!ABREISSEN!!!

It's ok for the price BUT the following happened on my stay. My key cards didn't work. Got another key card to a different one. Worked first day. Second night key cards didn't work. Front desk reactivate cards(and no I did not put it next to my phone or went through a medal detector.) upon entering my room I was greeted by a cockroach. Went to use the restroom the door hinge separated 1/4 inch gap. Finished using bathroom the cockroach got a bigger cousin in the bathroom. Ran into a wall crack. The 3 lights in the room do not work. I lived with it. The floor towards the window slopes downward in my room. So I don't recommend this motel.

One of the worst hotel stays I’ve encountered, and I had been to this hotel previously, so, in the last three years it has gone to crap.

Go to check in, and the lobby reeks of weed and cigarettes. Get my first room, and it’s torn apart, no beds, tv face down on the floor.

Get room number two. The door barely locks, curtains are broken, and It smells like smoke in my room and all down the hall.

I Inform the manager and he didn’t do anything about it.

In the room, broken curtains, lights, mold, broken fixtures in the bathroom, holes in the walls, the bed had a huge soft spot on it and was filthy.

In the morning I see a mouse running out of my room, and cockroaches in the bathroom. Person at the desk didn’t care when I told them.

I’ve tried to reach a manager twice in 24 hours to no avail.

A Disappointing and Unsafe Experience at Motel 6 - Glendale

I reserved a room at Motel 6 in Glendale for July 16, 2024, expecting a comfortable stay. However, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted by the overwhelming smell of marijuana permeating the hallways and even my assigned room. This was not only unpleasant but also unprofessional.

To make matters worse, the door to my room, along with several others, appeared compromised, raising serious safety concerns. Feeling unsafe, I promptly notified the front desk and checked out.

Despite clearly communicating these issues, the establishment refused to acknowledge the conditions, failed to document my complaint, and unjustly charged my credit card. They even made false claims that I stayed at the location, disregarding the evidence provided to the contrary.

I strongly advise against patronizing this business. The lack of accountability and disregard for customer safety are unacceptable. In addition to this review; I have sent formal letter sharing my experience to their Motel 6 corporate office regarding this matter. It is crucial to choose accommodations that prioritize its guests, comfort and security, and unfortunately, Motel 6 - Glendale does neither. 👎🏾

Overall my experience was ight. No microwave in the room, people were smoking in the building even tho there is a no smoking policy, weirdos just hang out outside at night whom did not have a room. As I was checking out and taking my belongings to the car, a lady kept harassing me to give them a good review, she followed me out to my car. I’m trying to walk away from the lady and she grabs me and still trying to make me give them a good review. She needs to be fired

FOUR different times my friend and I had to change rooms because front desk kept giving us rooms with people already staying. BUGS, you can hear everything, extremely dirty, no professionalism. Pretty much a hostal at this point.

Easy Upgrade

Rebecca who is the manager is extremely nice and professional. The motel 6 has great rooms, big tv, comfortable beds, no carpet which is a HUGE plus. It’s totally worth it if your in need; the quality is as upscale as the Laquinta which is on the same block just extremely more expensive. Their housekeeping is wonderful, nice, prompt and perfectionist. There are so many walking distance restaurants etc or you can DoorDash. Very nice, protective area. I’ll give it 5 stars for it being a MOTEL.

This is the loudest place I've ever stayed. The doors seem to be too big for the frames because they take an unreasonable amount of muscle to open or close and doing either sounds like a bomb going off. I woke up with a start every few hours because someone nearby had to close their door. The first room I was given hadn't been cleaned, the second one has peeling trim in the bathroom and the shelving under the sink (which is outside the bathroom) is crumbing. No overhead light and only one of the side table lights worked. Had to get new key cards twice because the ones I had stopped working but was never asked for ID to prove it was my room. No fridge or microwave and no bucket for the ice machine. The wifi was excruciatingly slow.

On the plus side, everyone was friendly and helpful and checking in and out was fast and easy. The TV and cable worked. No roaches or bedbugs that I saw. The AC was ice cold.
