Everything is amazing! I’ve stayed here twice and never had a complaint about rooms being dirty, rooms smelling, or nasty bathrooms. Customer service is very friendly and helpful! The beds are comfortable, I LOVE the showers! Right when you walk in it smells good! The only thing that could be better is breakfast, both stays they’ve had the same thing on the menu everyday, switch it up sometimes!

I make sure to tell the staff if their hotel was a good stay because I stayed somewhere so nasty I learned to appreciate the people at good hotels. A + stay! Great customer service and it's nice, clean, and overall a great stay. I looked for bed bugs and saw no sign of them. Yay!!! The facility in general smells clean too. Not like a clean masking bad smells. Awesome shower and bed!

I was a little apprehensive about staying at LaQuinta, but the hotel I wanted to book was sold out.
This hotel ended up being nice. I did take a star off because one-ply toilet paper is diabolical (I was not pleased with this at all) and I did not like the size of the pillows, they felt cheap! The room was clean and comfortable, our dog was able to stay here, and we loved the dove products they supplied. There was also a small fridge and microwave included. We never made it down to breakfast, but it was included (smelled good, lol!). All-in-all we would stay here again.
Forgot to mention we didn't have much contact with the staff, other than check in/out, but the couple we did come in contact with were very nice.

Every question I had was answered professionally during our stay. The hospitality was outstanding!

I was having issues with my room key getting into the pool and fitness center. The woman at the front desk was so helpful and unlocked both doors for me each time. We also thought our shower drain was clogged so we called the desk and requested a plunger. Joke was on us - it wasn't! We just didn't know how to work the shower drain. Again, there was no negativity nor complaining from any of the staff. 10/10 would stay again!

We had a great stay at La Quinta and we have no complaints. The room was clean and the beds were quite comfortable. The biggest win for my family and myself was the breakfast. Many places we've stayed at don't offer a full breakfast option. We came for a hockey tournament and didn't have to worry too much about noise since, they were fully aware that there would be hyperactive kids running around. The staff was also very friendly and easy-going; checking in and out was a breeze. It's also in a great location close to many different types of restaurants, so you have plenty of options. Would stay here again if we ever come back to South Bend. Keep up the good work 😊🙌👏

I booked this hotel because it had the highest rating in the area near my meeting, but unfortunately, my experience did not live up to expectations.

The cleanliness of my room was disappointing. There were oily smears on the wardrobe and bathroom door, and when I wiped the door with a washcloth, it came away very dirty. I also noticed unsightly brown drips on the wall near the bed and remnants of tape and paper on the ceiling where something had been poorly removed. These details made the room feel unkempt and poorly maintained.

The room temperature was another issue. It was difficult to regulate, and the bed was only outfitted with a very thin, sheet-like cover. I ended up sleeping under my down jacket and wearing gloves because I was so cold—this is not the level of comfort I expected.

What stood out the most was the lack of attention to detail throughout my stay. It had snowed a decent amount overnight, and when I left at 8:30 a.m.—a reasonable time—the sidewalk had not been cleared or salted, making it slippery and unsafe. To make matters worse, the front desk attendant was standing idly behind the desk and didn’t even acknowledge me as I left. Clearing and salting the sidewalk seems like a basic task that should have been prioritized.

Overall, the lack of care and attention to detail detracted significantly from my stay. I expected much more from a hotel with a 4.4 rating.

This was a wonderful time. Slept really well and really enjoyed the decorations and it meet the needs of me and those traveling with me. Would stay at this hotel again on my other visits to the area. The process of check in and check out is very quick and staff is very helpful.

Rooms very clean. Beds extremely comfortable. The pillows I had were feather, I think. Didn't like that.
Good hot shower. Room didn't have any odor to it. Not musty nor reeking of any kind cover smell. All in all..5 stars! Great stay.
