Brian and the team at this hotel were awesome during our wedding weekend 09/27-09/29. Booking the room block and bridal suite was super easy! The suite was perfect for all of our hair and makeup the morning of our wedding. The suite fit all of our stuff comfortably! I was so shocked and excited the hotel staff printed out a sign for our shuttle service. Such a thoughtful gesture to help our day run smoother. The complimentary breakfast was awesome on Sunday morning to chat with some of our wedding guests. If you are getting married locally, I would definetly recommend booking here!

This facility is pretty upscale for a Fairfield. It’s also the only Marriott property within 10 miles. Because of that the price is 50% higher than similar Marriott properties in Allentown/West Chester/Collegeville/Valley Forge.

And what do you get for the premium? One of the worst shopping areas in Pottstown.

It might be the nicest room in a 10 mile radius. But if you’ve got the capital consider opening a competitor.

We stayed here 3 nights for a family wedding, and it was a very smooth experience. The staff was very welcoming without being intrusive. And they made special efforts to communicate wedding plans (like the times of our special shuttle bus) to all wedding guests. We booked 2 rooms, and both were very clean and nicely decorated. They had a handy minifridge, which we appreciated and I've found to be less common at hotels these days. Good, standard hotel breakfast. Plenty of parking. Lots of restaurant options nearby. My only negative is that the closet for hanging clothes was a little small for our formal wear but that was minor.

What a great hotel! This is the best accomodation in the region with clean and well designed rooms, a whole team of friendly staff, and an amazing breakfast bar with gluten free and dairy free options! We loved our king room that had a little couch and ambient lighting and everything was just perfect!

Friendly, helpful staff and an updated hotel. But sliding barn doors on the bathrooms and breakfast buffet issues were real negatives.
1) The guest rooms have sliding barn doors for the bathrooms. I’ve never seen this type of door used for a bathroom before—and now I know why! The problem, my family quickly discovered, is that when you slide the door closed, there is a decent gap between the door and the doorframe. This means that you really don’t have total privacy when showering or using the toilet. People can definitely hear you, and at certain angles it seems they can even see you. (It certainly felt that way.) These doors also couldn’t be locked! I can’t imagine who approved this insane design, as all of us found this made using the bathroom very unsettling.
2) We stayed several days, and every day except one the hot items at the breakfast buffet were pre-packaged, mass-produced, unappetizing items (still in their packaging) that were frankly inedible. So much for saving money with a free breakfast. We even overheard other people complaining and talking about going to a diner for breakfast.
3) The coffee at the breakfast buffet was *never* hot, not even during breakfast hours.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. There were a lot of hot and cold options for breakfast.
We were disappointed to find hair and a wet used washcloth in the shower when we arrived. The water in the shower did not get hot. It was just barely warm enough to take a comfortable shower.
One of the elevators was out of order, and the only elevator was very slow.

Wow. This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. We had a room booked for a wedding this past weekend. Check-in time was at 3pm. There were guests of the wedding arriving and getting checked-in as early as 1pm. We arrived at the hotel around 1pm, and we asked every 20-30 minutes to see if we could check in early, but for some reason, our room was not ready. When 3pm came around, our room still wasn't ready. I informed the staff that the last shuttle to the wedding venue left the hotel at 4pm, so my wife and I needed time to get ready and make the shuttle. The front desk staff didn't seem to care and did not offer any apologies. We ended up getting ready in another guests' room who had graciously offered it to us when they saw what was going on. We were finally given access to our room when the shuttle got back AFTER the wedding at 10:30pm. To top it off, the entire hotel did not have any hot water. No explanations were given. No signs posted, no information from the front desk agents. Again, no apologies from them. Any guest who wanted to shower had to take an icy cold one.

At checkout, the front desk agent asked how our stay was. We explained exactly how it was. She offered no apologies. Nothing. She asked if we were Marriott Rewards members (we are not), and that she could award us points for all our troubles. We declined her invitation to sign us up. This experience will not end with this Google review. My next course of action will be to contact corporate. Awful awful experience here. The front desk staff is terrible.

In town for 1 night and decided to stay here. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfast. Linens were fresh and beds were comfortable. I will stay again when I come back to the area!
