Das Hotel ist mit 3 Sternen zu bewerten. Die Zimmer sind recht groß. Bad hat auch viel Plstz. Aber in die Jahre gekommen.

Man könnte etwas mehr Wert auf Sauberkeit legen, und das Frühstück ist wenig Abwechslungsreich, wenn man länger hier wohnt. Das Personal ist aber super freundlich. Pool & Gym ok. Ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden

Das Frühstück war nicht berauschend, aber besser als es noch Hawthorn Suites hieß. Insgesamt ist die Möblierung und die Sauberkeit besser geworden. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit aber distanziert. Abends gratis Getränke und Imbisse fanden wir nett. Die Zimmer sind geräumig mit allem drum und dran, so dass man problemlos selbst kochen kann und alles wird für einen in die Spülmaschine gestellt! ||Insgesamt zwar nicht luxuriös aber bietet viel für das Geld.

Toilette floss über und flutete Bad, Waschbecken mit Rissen, Dusche mit wenig Druck. Möbel wirken schon sehr gebraucht. DAs Hotel riecht morgens komplett nach verbranntem Speck der im Frühstücksraum zubereitet wird. GYM extrem eng und Geräte schon sehr alt. Insgesamt wirkte das Hotel auf mich recht heruntergekommen. Einmal vergessen Zimmer zu machen, es konnte auch kein Angestellter mehr tun, obwohl Reklamation montags 18 Uhr erfolgte.

Frühstück OK , solide. Großer kostenloser Parkplatz. Als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge mit dem Auto OK. Auch hier etwas runtergekommen und 90 $ pro Nacht geht. Ist aber Schmerzgrenze. Im Umfeld gibt's einiges : Mall , Starbucks und Restaurants.

My experience here, was just okay, the rooms were okay for me, bed was comfortable enough and as usual the complimentary breakfast was great, loved it.
Quite a new management when I got there like they told me. I was impressed.
I requested for late checkout which was granted unlike other hotels. But I couldn't get to them during my check-in day for an early check-in.
Overall I liked and enjoyed my stay here.

This was my second stay at the Hyatt House Schaumburg. During my first stay, which happened a few years ago, I was still reasonably satisfied, but this time very dissatisfied and horrified. Just recently I stayed there for two nights. When I came into the room, I noticed the dirt on the carpet. Well, little by little I discovered more things that I didn't like. For example, the 20-30 ladybugs that were in the room. I won't even start talking about the hair on the couch and in the bed, the greasy headboard and a sharp object on the floor. After the first night I asked the receptionist to get a different room. By the way, in the elevator I met another guest and she had some issues with her room as well. Anyway, I got a new room for the second night. Once in the room for the second night, I immediately noticed a dirty carpet as well, furthermore two used towels. But I decided to stay in this hotel. On the second morning I wanted to prepare a coffee just a few minutes before I had to leave and checked the cleanliness of the coffee machine. When I opened the coffee pot I was really shocked because there was white and green mold inside that covered the entire bottom. I was pretty annoyed and went down to the check-out taking the pot affected with me and asked for the manager. Mr. Robert Lindsey, who is the manager, was in his office across the reception and I had the opportunity to explain to him the problems with my entire stay. He acted as if he took my complaints seriously, especially the one about the mold. I think this is a serious hygiene problem, which can be a dangerous to health under certain circumstances, which the manager clearly agreed with. He suggested a refund of the room price, which I declined because I did not want to give up status nights and bonus and extra points in the World of Hyatt program. We agreed that I would be credited with a reasonable number of bonus points, without giving any details. Nothing happened in the following days. Two emails to Mr. Lindsey remained unanswered. I have now contacted Hyatt directly and have decided to describe what happened here in the hope that the hygiene conditions in this hotel will improve!
