Stayed two nights at the Embassy Suites here. The staff was very friendly and the suites were decently sized.

As far as food goes:
- The breakfast eggs to order was definitely a nice plus.
- I did not personally try the renowned free goldfish at the happy hour bar, but was able to confirm that they do stock the bowl very generously, and anyone who says otherwise is just trying to find things to complain about.

As far as the room goes:
- Prices were decent, the place was clean, and waste water only bubbled up the sink once, right before checkout.
- The walls between the suite and the broader hotel are very thin. The center of the hotel is a giant open space from the ground to ceiling of the top floor. Although this is a quite beautiful design, it means that every conversation in the lobby has an unobstructed line to your floor and door. Because the outer walls of the suite are paper thin, this means that any unsavorily loud guests yelling in the lobby are quite audible from the outermost of the two rooms your suite has. The inner room (the bedroom) had its own door which helped mute the noise, but it was definitely disappointing to not have peace within the walls of my suite.

Location: nothing to write home about, but there were some stores within a walkable distance if you wanted some food.

I would have given this 4 stars except for how notable the sound issues were. Staff members were very friendly in the limited interactions I had with them.

Staying here with my family. Great place to get some rest. Rooms are quiet, and check in was fast and easy. The pool is heated so that is a plus! The suite we booked had a drink voucher that gets you 2 complimentary drinks at the bar, the only down fall and I don’t understand is why they close the bar at 7:30. We would have liked to redeem our drinks a little later after dinner.

We would stay here again yes!

We booked this last minute for a Holiday work party at a nearby convention center. We brought our two small children (1 and 3 year old) and grandparents to watch them. ||Jenn was extremely helpful with helping us to get two rooms as close to each other as possible. She went above and beyond. |Mark was also very hospitable. All of the staff we encountered were so friendly and welcoming.||The pool area was very nice. |Rooms were mostly very clean. ||There were some things that could be better - the food was just ok with the exception of it being very nice to have omelettes made to order! I had a vegetable omelette and it was just how I wanted it. It’s included so you really can’t complain about “free”’food. ||The seating areas in the atrium could use some updating. There were holes, scuffs, and stains on a lot of the furniture. ||Honestly, we would stay here again despite some of the minor cosmetic and food inconveniences. Our kids did great and the staff was awesome!

I had a great stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton! The staff was super friendly and made check-in easy. My suite was clean, spacious, and had everything I needed.

The free breakfast was delicious, especially the made-to-order omelets, and the evening snacks and drinks were a nice bonus.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I’ll definitely stay here again!

I have stayed at Embassy Suites for so many years and Embassy Schaumburg is a disgrace to the Hilton name!! I am a Hilton Honor member and this one really made me think of canceling my membership! To start with, I made my reservation month’s in advance as it was crucial I get a first floor room! The reservation clerk assured me it would not be a problem. Upon arrival I was informed there were NO 1st floor rooms available and was forced to stay in a higher room. NO discount or apologies were offered for the few days I stayed. I also had a return reservation for a couple days later, where I did get the first floor room. HOWEVER once I got my credit card statement they not only charged me for the one night stay, they ALSO CHARGED ME for a cancellation, which I NEVER DID!!! We are now in late December and I’ve been calling them since October to get the $165.00 cancellation fee refunded!!! I’ve made numerous attempts to speak either with the General Mgr (who is NEVER AVAILABLE), left multiple voicemails for the Assistant Mgr) who still has not returned my call!!!! Upon all these issues I reached out to Hilton customer service and found that this hotel is not owned by Hilton but by a franchisee! There might lye the problem!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU FIND A HOTEL THAT CARES ABOUT THEIR GUESTS!!!! I give this hotel NEGATIVE STARS!!! -***

The establishment is worn in places but it did have some character in comparison to most chain hotels. The staff were very good and keen to help where necessary.||Three of the lifts were out of action for the 5 days I stayed there. The venue is noisy with rooms opening into the hotel's internal space. The "free" breakfast is passable but the menu gets tedious very quickly.||A place to stray is other hotesl are booked up.
