I recently had the pleasure of staying at Motel 6 Rolling Meadows and my experience was wonderful from start to finish. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay.

A special mention goes to Sravya at the front desk, who went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. She was warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist, whether it was providing local recommendations or answering questions with a genuine smile. Her attentive service truly made my stay exceptional.

Thank you to the entire team at Motel 6 Rolling Meadows for an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a friendly, comfortable stay.

We booked this hotel for Christmas Eve. It was an inexpensive option, so we did not have high, unrealistic expectations. However, we did not expect holes in the bedding and bugs crawling all over the bathroom and shower. We checked in and then went to dinner. It was at dinner I was told about the bugs in the room. We let them know we would not be staying but were refused a refund because we did not let them know within the 10-minute allowable time frame. Quite honestly, if you have a policy that allows you to inspect the room for 10 minutes, then you already know there is a problem with your hotel.

I stayed at this hotel last week. It was very clean but the problem I had was the cleaning people that come to each room. When I stay there I had a female. The next day I had a man who about look like late '50s clean my room. He asked me a personal question that made me very uncomfortable. Are you single? I told him no. He said you look very pretty and then one night there was a guy standing outside. We were on the same floor. I was just talking to him about the weather how cold outside then I went in my room to get ready for bed. Next you know he came and knocked on my door. I looked through the hole but I did not answer it. The other night I stayed there. I decided to go to the bedding machines. I put money in the machine hit the button it said it was sold out. I did not know that I went to the front desk and told the guy. He asked me what room I was in and I told him and he said he will let the manager know in the morning he said the manager will come knock on my door in the morning. Never happen. I went down to the office and I talked to a lady. She said there's nothing they can do very rude half of the time I was scared to walk out of my own room because that same guy was always there. The maintenance guy and the other one that tried to knock on my door. I will never stay at this hotel again when you stay at hotel, you should not be scared to walk out your door and also I did have bad nights there because of people above me kept banging all night moving around furniture 8:00 at night all the way until midnight. This hotel is not worth it The price might be good but it's really not worth it also what I like to add to this The room with one bed. It makes no sense. They have no mini fridge or microwave in there. They only have a mini fridge and microwave for the two bed. I think that is ridiculous that hotel is not Worth to stay again and the front desk people were rude and playing games zero stars for if I can give them your zero Stars I will One star but I do got to say the shower was great and the location was not great. I do not drive so I literally had to walk to get what I need to survive and I could not fridge my food. That was very bad and I'm also a diabetic and the lady at the front desk told me I could change rooms but I'll have to check out and check back in three and I told her I do not drive. So where am I going to put my stuff

Dirt cheap and you get what you pay for. Paper thin walls, only toiletries available were two units of bar soap. Toilet didn't work particularly well.l and neither did the bedside lights or TV remote. The shower wall was cracked around the spout and numerous other random signs of general disrepair were present.
That said, the room was a suitable place to crash near the airport for the night so it fit the purpose.

Had a fantastic stay at this Chicago motel! Booked online and everything went smoothly. Was a bit nervous due to negative reviews, but my experience was great. Friendly staff, clean room, and accommodated a room cleaning during my stay. Though a bit far from downtown, you can easily access it via Arlington Park train. Overall, an awesome experience!

I reserved a room online and clearly stated I had a pet. I arrived on time got booked in, the process was ok except the nice young man booking me in kept getting interrupted by other staff. He was trying to count my money out and another man came and handed him a stack of bills told him to count them and put them away so he had to stop working with me to do this, so that was unprofessional. I get put on the second floor. Room was decent for the price I can say it was clean didn’t smell or anything. I settled in. 3 hours later they are calling and knocking on the door telling me I have to move NOW because I have a pet. I had a lot of stuff with me so I had to relocate all of my stuff to a 1st floor room which I guess is policy for pets. As soon as I walked in I knew why the first floor is for pets, it was questionably clean. It sure didn’t look clean. The blankets have stains, scratches and holes. The carpet was tore up in front of the door, as well as a part of the flooring. The remote didn’t work, but it was dead batteries which they changed for me. The curtain was nasty. The bathroom had some flaws where looks like a pet clawed up the door. One of the guests that stays long term said the first floor was “purgatory” I’d have to agree! The area is back off in a secluded area. A lot of long term renters. Clean, not smelly and somewhat cozy if you get the second or third floor but the first floor is definitely a down grade! The day of checkout everything was fine, the guy says he has to go check the room before he gives me my deposit. He came back and said the carpet in front of the door is tore up and he can’t refund me because of that. He said my dog did that. Funny thing is I take pictures EVERY time I go into a room, not my first time.. I explained that was like that when I got there he got rude and stated it was not so I told him I could show him the video of damages of the room before I even got my stuff in it, he reluctance my deposit but did not want to and seriously doubted me. SO TAKE PHOTOS OF THE ROOM or you will be blamed for it!

Avoid at all costs! I am not one to write a negative review, however am compelled to after such a horrible night.

To start off with, we were hit by the stench of stale urine and smoke upon opening the door to our non smoking room. It was absolutely unbearable to the point I drove to the store to buy Febreze while my partner attempted to air the room. The Febreze was no match for the stench and we could not stand to spend any more time than necessary in the room which was not how we had planned our evening to look like.

Next, the shower was barely lukewarm whilst the toilet was clearly clogged and actually overflowed. The bedspread had holes all over it - possibly cigarette burns. The area did not feel at all safe, there were numerous guests hanging out in the carpark and surrounds smoking and yelling which left us extremely concerned for our belongings in the car. If this anxiety wasn’t alone enough to keep up up, the lack of soundproofing between rooms meant we could hear our upstairs neighbour stomping around until the early hours of the morning.

We would have raised our concerns (and actually left altogether) if not for the less than helpful desk attendant who could barely produce a grunt during check in.

If I could leave negative stars for this motel I would. I’m truly scarred and will NEVER stay at a Motel 6 again. Please learn from my mistake!

Location is quiet, very little traffic in the area. Our room did not have a refrigerator or microwave and the listing didn’t mention this. Additionally the staff is very difficult to deal with and refused to give us four towels when we payed for four guests in the room. Overall a good place to stay if you’re on a budget and don’t mind little inconveniences as previously mentioned.
